Mindful Consent Social Media Down

As the year closes in 2025, Mindful Consent social media - both Facebook and Instagram accounts The Consent Consultant and Mindful Consent Model - are currently unavailable until further notice.

Due to the current blitzkreig on accounts that are seen to compromise Meta Community Standards, all of my Meta accounts encompassing two Mindful Consent related Facebook and IG accounts have been suspended and permanently disabled.

This comes as a genuine surprise to me as I have not - to my knowledge - breached Community Guidelines. My posts were infrequent, mainly to share blog updates and advertise specific Mindful Consent related events, such as workshops.

I have tried to get the accounts reactivated as I wish to keep the brandings, but have been asked for $3K AUD to bring any accounts back. This is too high an outlay for me, and I would rather put money into creating new resources to further my message in more quantifiable ways that are not so easy for entities like Meta to tear down. With the new age verification laws affecting sexuality education as well, I know content like Mindful Consent can be subject to overcapture, meaning it is unavailable to young or old!
