Mindful Consent Public Consent Forum Oct 19 Melb

On October 19th, I am incredibly proud to present my second, now-annual Mindful Consent Public Consent Forum panel as part of the 2023 Oz Kink Fest event calendar.

Accompanied by guest panelists, we will define and describe consent, talk through what it does and doesn't look like from experiential process dimensions, and unpack how to negotiate it in the context of sexuality. We will also talk red flags and harm minimisation strategies. The event will conclude with a Q&A.

I will present the Mindful Consent Model as a tool for negotiating consent decisions and guide attendees through embodiment exercises.

Last year the inaugural event was a huge success! We had 35 attendees with people from various contexts in the healthcare sector to those simply interested in learning about the Model and expanding their communication toolkit.

The event will be 3hrs in duration. Light refreshments will be provided.

Tickets are $29 for those fully waged and $18 for concession, available at Eventbrite.

The venue is Second Story Studios at 222A Johnston Street Collingwood, VIC 3066.

This event welcomes the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community with translation into Auslan.

Check the event on Facebook as I will be posting again across the Mindful Consent Model social media platform with updates.

I hope to see you there and please don’t hesitate to email me on info@mindfulconsentmodel.com if you need further details.
