This time of year is always exciting for me as, from September onwards, there’s monthly events for Mindful Consent!
The now-annual Mindful Consent Public Consent Forum is on tonight, as part of the 10 day Oz Kink Fest festival from Oct 8 to 18 in Melbourne, Victoria.
We are meeting at Second Storey, Collingwood from 6pm, for two hours.
I’ll deliver a more workshop-oriented presentation this year, as directly after the Mindful Consent event there is a panel featuring Oz Kink Fest international and local guests with the topic “Capacity to Consent”. This panel in the same location, also for two hours, and is ticketed separately.
Oz Kink Fest is truly a one-of-a-kind festival that starts a major workshop weekend with not one but TWO dense education events on consent, reinforcing the solid ethics around consensual play that the organisers of Oz Kink Fest have always upheld.
